Taipei, Oct. 7 (CNA) Overseas Chinese Affairs Commission Chairwoman Chang Fu-mei said Monday that her council will do its utmost to thwart Beijing's international propaganda as part of the government's efforts to increase the affiliation of overseas Chinese with Taiwan.

Chang made the remarks while reporting to the Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Committee under the Legislative Yuan.

Claiming that traditional overseas Chinese communities have undergone tremendous changes in both "quality and quantity" due to Beijing's propaganda and the influx of a large number of migrants from the mainland, Chang noted that …
