The current situation of Afghanistan has been assessed at a meeting between the chairman of the Transitional Islamic State of Afghanistan [Hamed Karzai], and the Iranian ambassador in Kabul.

According to a report from the correspondent of Voice and Vision, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kabul, Mohammad Ebrahim Taherian, met the chairman of the Transitional Islamic State of Afghanistan, Hamed Karzai, on Monday [7 October] and emphasized the formation of a joint commission of the two countries and the need for all countries and international society to cooperate in combating drugs.
