Telemadrid, the state-owned Spanish television channel which broadcasts for the autonomous region of Madrid, intends to take advantage of its regional character this coming season and focus on documentaries and programmes regarding issues relevant to the area of Spain's capital city. In a newspaper interview, Isidro Sanchez-Crespo, Telemadrid's marketing director, said that his channel was the only one to broadcast documentaries during evening prime time.
