Gartmore Investment Management has appointed Shamus Young as head of the firm's global consulting group, in charge of developing relationships with investment consultants.Young, who will report to Frances Davies, head of global institutional, was previously an account director on the Gartmore institutional client services team. He replaces Stephen Attenborough, who was recently appointed head of European institutional sales for the firm's fund of hedge funds offering.
