THOUSANDS of Littlewoods workers face uncertainty today after the pounds 750m sale of the Liverpool-based empire.
New owners Sir David and Sir Frederick Barclay could still sell off the high street store chain, Littlewoods chief executive Alistair McGeorge admitted after last night's dramatic takeover announcement.
The deal ended the Moores dynasty's almost 80 year association with the business - launched by Sir John Moores in 1923.
