The Moro Islamic Liberation Front [MILF] has asked its detractors particularly those claiming that Chairman Salamat Hashim and Al-Qa'idah chief Usamah Bin-Ladin had talked over the telephone in February of 1999.

The Philippine Daily Inquirer [PDI] carried this story about two weeks ago citing the Central Intelligence Agency [CIA] as source of the report. The news story said the CIA had recorded on tape the conversation between Salamat and Bin-Ladin …
