Taipei, Oct. 1, 2002 (CENS)--Intel Corp. will continue investing in Taiwan despite its expansion in mainland China, said Jason C.S. Chen, general manager of the chipmaker's Asia-Pacific operations

Chen said Intel would increase investment in Taiwan in the areas of customer support, application design support, and education. The company will establish a global high-tech research and development center in Taiwan
