TOKYO, Oct 1 Asia Pulse - Sega Corp. (TSE:7964) and game software company D3 Publisher Inc. (TSE:4311) will form a joint venture to reissue lower-priced versions of Sega game software, the two companies said Monday.
The alliance will enable D3 to redevelop Sega's old game software for commercial applications by tapping into its product development know-how.
These games were originally developed for the Sega Mega Drive and Sega Saturn platforms as well as the more recent Sega Dreamcast.
