INDONESIA'S TELKOM READY TO BUY INDOSAT'S TOLL CALL NETWORK.
SURABAYA, E Java, Oct 1 Asia Pulse - State domestic telecommunications operator PT Telkom (JSX:TLKM) is ready to buy a direct international toll call line with code "008" if its competitor, state international telecommunications operator PT Indosat (JSX:ISAT), wants to sell it, an official said.
"If the international toll call line is sold we are ready to buy it," Telkom service director Garuda Sudargo said in a meeting with a telecommunication journalists forum from East Java which was held in Bandung, West Java, over the weekend.
The decision was made by Telkom to anticipate future international telecommunication market, he said.
