DIARY - ARAB CHAMBERS CONFERENCE, OMAN.
MUSCAT, Oct 1 Asia Pulse - The Sultanate will host the 37th session of the Arab Commerce, Industry and Agriculture Chambers Conference at Al-Bustan Palace Hotel from 14th to 16th October.
Mohammed bin Al-Zubair bin Ali, Advisor to H.M. the Sultan for Economic Planning Affairs, will open the conference in the presence of Amr Mussa, Arab League Secretary-General, Dr. Mirvat Tallawi, UN Undersecretary-General and Executive Secretary of the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) and a number of Arab officials.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Salim al-Rowas, President of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said the conference served as a forum for Arab businessmen and played a pioneering role in enhancing inter-Arab economic and trade cooperation.
