SYDNEY, Oct 1 Asia Pulse - More than 300 striking NRMA road service officers have agreed to work today as union heads and NRMA chief Rob Carter continue talks, at the request of the NSW Industrial Relations Commission (IRC).
Yesterday, the IRC called for an end to the 24-hour strike and ordered an urgent meeting between the parties.
The meeting with Mr Carter and Australian Manufacturing Workers Union (AMWU) is expected to continue today.
Mr Carter said he was happy to take part in talks.
But AMWU assistant state secretary John Parkin has warned of more industrial action if the talks break down.
"Anything is possible when you're talking about the NRMA and their industrial relations people," Mr Parkin told reporters.
