Assuming that Korea is to be reunified by 2010, 54 trillion won will have to be spent over the subsequent five years to achieve a housing supply ratio of 100 percent.

In a report, consigned by the Korea Housing Corp., the North Korean Economic Forum said that amount of funds will be necessary if North Korea is to achieve a full housing supply within five years after 2010.

At present, North Korea has 4,525,000 dwellings for a supply ratio of 78 percent, and this will have to be increased by 1,276,000 units to realize a sufficiency ratio of 100 ...
