Taipei, Sept. 30, 2002 (CENS)--Nan Ya Technology Corp. said yesterday it would raise NT$10 billion by issuing new shares for procuring the latest 0.14 micron-based DRAM facilities and financing investment in the12-inch wafer plant proposed by Hwa Ya Semiconductor Corp. Nan Ya Technology originally planned to raise NT$14 billion in funds by issuing GDRs at a premium price of NT$40 per share.
