CHINA YANGTZE ELECTRIC POWER COMPANY LAUNCHED
BEIJING - With the approval of the State Council, China Yangtze Electric Power Co., Ltd. was founded in Beijing on September 29.
The new company, with a registered capital of 5.53 billion yuan (US$668.08 million), is based on the Gezhouba Hydropower Plant of the China Yangtze Three Gorges Project Development Corp.
