SYDNEY, Sept 30 Asia Pulse - The Australian dollar opened weaker in early local trade, although it remained within recent ranges as concerns about the United States economic outlook continue to restrict currency growth.
At 0700 AEST, the Australian dollar was worth $US0.5435/40 compared with 0.5450/55 at Friday's close....
