French oil firm signs EPIC contract in Libya.

France's Bouygues Offshore has signed a contract for a subsea production system, on an EPIC (engineering, procurement, installation and construction) basis, offshore Libya with Agip Gas BV-Libyan Branch, a company operating on behalf of the Libyan National Oil Corporation and Agip North Africa BV, of ENI.

To perform this contract, Bouygues Offshore has entered a joint venture with Doris Engineering. The total amount of the contract is valued at [euro]133 million. The joint venture's share amounts to [euro]72 million.
