PRESTATYN TOWN, five players short, had to draft club secretary Mark Goldsmith into service against Penmaenmawr Phoenix - and he ended up scoring the final goal in a 3-0 victory.

John Hargreaves gave Prestatyn the lead when he latched on to a clearance from James Ainsworth on 20 minutes and then Ainsworth blasted home a free-kick from 20 yards five minutes later.

Penmaenmawr were blocked out and Prestatyn's deserved win was sealed when Goldsmith picked his spot from 16 yards with four minutes to go.

Caerwys were celebrating their first League win for 10 months when they broke their season's duck with a sparkling 3-1 victory over mid-table visitors Glan Conwy.

After three defeats and a draw, Caerwys finally recaptured the winning touch afterJoe Griffith had smashed home a stunning drive from 35 yards on 38 minutes.
