WEST INDIAN McNeil Morgan snapped up 7-42 as Bangor pulled off a 38-run victory over Hawarden Park at Ty Newydd to virtually seal a second successive Readers Romida Premier Division title and shatter Hawarden's hopes.

But then a disciplined innings of 74 off 118 balls by Andy Williams, his first half-century for the first team, steadied the ship as he and Robbie Jones (21 not out) put on 61 in the last eight overs to lift the Bangor to 146-6.
Hawarden must have thought the match was theirs for the taking but they reckoned without the pace of Morgan and the spin of Peter Banham, 3-29 off 13 overs as the visitors were dismissed for 108 in 43 overs, Lee Davies (27) skipper Mike Scott (21) and Aussie Ben Rohrer (20) in a 20-3 points split.
Brymbo moved up to second, 15 points below Bangor, with a seven-wicket success at Northop. After being asked to bat, Northop set 194-7 off 58 overs, Carl Williams (92 not out) and Kevin Owen (39) as Nigel Rob-erts nabbed 4-30 off 11 overs. Brymbo responded with 196-3 in 54 overs, Dafydd Rhys (74) Roberts (50 not out) and skipper Stewart Williams (46) as Northop captain Gareth Williams took 2-53 off 15 overs in a 22-3 result.
Llandudno climbed to third, five points behind Brymbo, after sinking St Asaph by 144 runs at the Oval. Put in, the seasiders declared on 203-3 off 50 overs, Mark Hughes (60) skipper Steve Smith (44) Tarique Khan ...
