Israeli company Scopus Network Technologies will provide Deutsche Telekom (NYSE: DT) with a platform for broadcasting digital television channels to northern Italy. The deal is worth an estimated $3 million. Scopus develops broadband digital video broadcasting solutions.

Scopus said the multi-channel system would be based on technology facilitating remote control and monitoring. The equipment is installed at a broadcasting center in Milan, but the broadcasting is controlled and monitored from Germany. …
