The EU enlargement commissioner went to Poland to express criticism and came to Hungary to gain sympathy. Guenther Verheugen was unable to promise anything in connection with agricultural funding either in Poland or in Hungary, as the current member states are not expected to formulate a common standpoint before late October, although everything depends on that.
