NDS wins Chinese TV contract

NDS Group plc, a News Corporation company, said that it has won a supply contract from Chinese-based Sichuan Provincial Network for its digital and interactive cable- television broadcasting solutions.

The technology will allow Sichuan to offer its viewers interactive stock information service, closed-caption television Sports Interactive coverage and a Chinese- language interactive program guide.
