Vietnam: Newly-elected assembly external relations committee meets.

The newly-elected 34-member National Assembly External Relations Committee [NAERC] held its first plenary meeting in Hanoi on 8 August to discuss tasks and orientations for its new term of office. National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Van An attended and addressed the function.
At the meeting, NAERC Chairman Vu Mao spoke highly on the contributions made by the preceding Committee of the 10th National Assembly to strengthening the State's foreign policy and the National Assembly's diplomatic achievements.
