Georgian TV names suspect in Russian officer's murder.

The name of a person detained on suspicion of murdering a high-ranking Russian officer [in Georgia], Igor Zaytsev, has been made public. Zaytsev's body was found in the Tbilisi suburbs yesterday.

The detainee is David Zazashvili, allegedly also a Russian national and Russian armed forces serviceman, [Tbilisi's] Rustavi-2 TV company has said.

Georgian officials refuse to provide any comments for time being. The Georgian Interior Ministry press service said that all information regarding the murder of Col Zaytsev remains confidential at this stage in the interests of the investigation.
