The Revenue Chain is often referred to as the "Quote to Cash" cycle. This process is typically defined as the time from negotiations for the sale of goods or services until the time of ultimate collection of good funds for those goods or services. This includes activities such as contract negotiations, specifications, order entry, customer service, credit, elements of the supply chain, packaging, delivery, billing, collections and dispute resolution. At the tail end of the process is receivables management.
