Taipei, Aug. 29, 2002 (CENS)--Taiwan Polypropylene Co., Ltd., a main local PP (polypropylene) producer listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange, recorded net (after-tax) earnings per share (EPS) of NT$0.73 for the first half of this year

Taiwan Polypropylene raked in revenue of NT$3.746 billion for the first half of this year, growing by 8.8% from the same period of 2001. The company reaped half-year gross operating profit of NT$687 million and net operating profit of NT$323 million, representing a whopping annual rise of 526% and 292% respectively. As a result, the company brought in half-year after-tax profit of NT$180 million, soaring by 462% ...
