KUCHING, Sept 4 (Bernama) -- Not a single political party in Sarawak has so far come forward to help in the registration of new voters and this has resulted in a very small number of people registering as new voters, Election Commission Secretary Datuk Wan Ahmad Wan Omar said today.

Since the year-round voter registration system was introduced two months ago, only 2,400 of the 224,000 people eligible to be registered as voters have done so till todate, he said.
