SYDNEY, June 11 AAP - Information technology outsourcer Logica Plc has signed a support contract with Melbourne's City West Water.

City West Water provides drinking water, sewerage systems and trade waste services for more than 280,000 customers in Melbourne's CBD and inner eastern and western suburbs.

The contract involved 24-hour monitoring and management of City West Water's facilities, including helpdesk, remote monitoring of servers and networks, and full-time onsite presence during business hours Logica said.
