Skopje, 1 September: Leader of the Progressive Party Petar Bocvarov sent letter of suggestion to President Boris Trajkovski for adoption of a resolution on inviolability of the country's constitutional name.
Expressing his concern about the dispute over Macedonia's name with Greece, Bocvarov says that the political party SDSM [Social Democratic Alliance of Macedonia], by accepting the reference to the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia [FYROM] and the changes in regard with the country's flag, has committed an act of negation of the historical truth, inheritance and continuity of the Macedonian people and state.
