As Nigeria prepares to host the 2002 edition of the Miss World Beauty pageant in November, fear is being expressed that the country would lose financially if the Federal Government failed to the implementation of the Sharia Appeal Court decision upholding the sentencing the 30-year-old mother of a baby girl, Amina Lawal, to death by stoning in Katsina State.
