Ty Cooke, a Canadian super middleweight boxer has joined the Believers Boxing Club in Accra to sharpen his skills preparatory to a serious challenge in the division.

The 19 year-old Canadian told GNA Sports that he decided to sharpen his skills in Ghana because of the popularity of the sport in the country and the quality of the local boxers.

Ty said he came into the country on a visit and after watching a few fights, decided to train here because "the boxers are solid performers" despite the lack of modern infrastructure and…
