The Oil Mineral Producing Areas Stakeholders Forum (OMPSTAFOR) has criticised the conversion of the Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun Delta State to a campus of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) .

OMPSTAFOR, at a news conference in Warri, Delta State at the weekend, described the development as a Greek gift from the Federal Government and therefore called on President Olusegun Obasanjo to rescind the decision by creating a separate federal university of science and technology in Delta State.
