Africa Rally Championship (ARC) leader Satwant Singh followed up his rival John Gemmel in the Rwanda rally this weekend ahead of the TOTAL Pearl of Africa Uganda rally August 30 - September 1.

The Ugandan-born Zambian Satwant (22 points) yesterday left Kampala for Kigali by road to take on South African Gemmel who is just two points behind him. Gemmel also entered Rwanda through Uganda on Monday.

Satwant who will drive his new Subaru Impreza group N will go route reccing today ahead of Rwanda's round of the ARC series this weekend.

The Pearl of Africa Uganda rally that has attracted 12 foreign entrants so far is sponsored by TOTAL Uganda, Hima Cement, South African Airways, Hotel ...
