Buganda Road Chief Magistrate's Court yesterday remanded three Electoral Commission Officials to Luzira Prison over fraud charges.
They are Internal Auditor Herbert Ssebunya and election officers Susan Wanume Senior and Aida Nankumba.
The Chief Magistrate Frank Nigel Othembi remanded them after they pleaded not guilty to abuse of office and causing a Shs 70m financial loss.
Othembi advised them to apply for bail through the High Court.
Court also fixed Sept. 17 and 18 when it shall hear the case after prosecution reported that investigations into the matter are complete.
