The Constitutional Court has adjourned hearing of the petition challenging the Political Parties and Organisation Act.

The petition challenging the legality of the Act was filed by Democratic Party president Dr. Paul Ssemogerere, MPs Winnie Byanyima (Mbarara Municipality), Richard Mutumba (Kawempe South), Reagan Okumu (Aswa), Kassiam Ezati (Terego), and Reform Agenda national vice-chairman, Sam Njuba.
