The Cranes' training camp to Libyan will be delayed up to late August or September, FUFA General Secretary, Haruna Mawanda said Tuesday.

Mawanda said the Libyan Soccer Federation requested for the postponement early this week.

The Cranes returned from Sudan yesterday where they played several build-up games. Cranes takes on face Ghana Black Stars in a group 13 encounter on Sept. 7 in Kampala in the 2004 nations cup qualifier.

Uganda and Libya signed a memorandum of understanding about two months ago in which both countries agreed that their national teams can hold joint training camps ahead of main events.

Mawanda had told The Monitor earlier in the week that FUFA had proposed August 10-13 for the Libya trip.
