The divisional Police Commander of Akropong Akuapem, Chief Supt. Robert Adenya, has said lack of accommodation and unavailability of telephone facilities are straining efforts by the police/military patrol teams to combat crime.

He said the joint patrol team, which is currently manning other districts, namely Akumpem South, Yilo Krobo, Manya Krobo, Asuogyaman, in addition to Akuapem North district, finds it difficult to establish contact due to the unavailability of telephone facilities.

The divisional commander expressed these concerns at the inauguration of the Akuapem North Security Ensuring Fund (ANSEF) at Akropong last week.
