Presidential adviser on special projects Gloria Tan-Climaco is drawing flak from a terminal builder for her Hitlerite plan to have government take over Terminal 3 at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
Meanwhile, Rep. Prospero Pichay called on the Lower House to investigate Tan-Climaco for declaring as onerous the Naia 3 contract when two House panels have upheld the contract's validity.
The spokesman for Philippine International Air Terminal Co. (Piatco) Moises Tolentino Jr. also raised the issue of conflict of interest over Climaco's handling of the Naia 3 issue.
Climaco last Thursday revealed before the Senate Blue Ribbon committee hearing her recommendation to President Arroyo to take over the project, a joint venture between Piatco and Frankfurt Airport Service Worldwide (Fraport).
Climaco said President Arroyo had approved her recommendation for the government takeover and had reportedly communicated her position to Fraport. Piatco is controlled by the Cheng family.
