Taking the title from one of Mark Twain's books, ITN issues you the challenge of earning the Following The Equator Award.

To receive it, you must have traveled to every country crossed by the equator. It is not, necessary to have actually straddled the equator in each country but just to have been in the country, sweltering.

The countries are as follows: Ecuador (naturally), Colombia, Brazil, Gabon, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Kenya, Somalia and Indonesia.
