SEOUL, Sept 2 Asia Pulse - Park Sam-koo, 57, vice chairman of Kumho Group, assumed chairmanship of the group on Monday.

The new chairman is the third son of group founder Park In-chun and the younger brother of the late chairman Park Jeong-koo, and was formerly president of Kumho Corp. and Asiana Airlines.

Park has practically taken the helm of Kumho since February last year when the former chairman left for the United States for medical treatment.
