NAGOYA, Sept 2 Asia Pulse - Toyota Motor Corp. (TSE:7203) plans to give all employees a special bonus of 50,000 (US$421.15) to 80,000 yen in September to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the signing of a labor-management pact.
The bonus payment is also designed to reward employees for achieving a record profit in the fiscal year ended March 31.
The automaker will pay 80,000 yen each to some 9,000 managers at the rank of section chief and above, and 50,000 yen each to some 58,000 members of its labor union.
