TAIPEI, Sept 2 Asia Pulse - Taiwan's three airline companies that operate Boeing passenger jets will be asked to have the aircraft inspected upon the request of the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration, Civil Aeronautics Administration (CAA) Director General Chang Kuo-cheng said Saturday.

Chang said the CAA will ask China Airlines (TAIEX:2610), EVA Airways(TAIEX:2618) and Far East Air Transport (TAIEX:5605) to have their Boeing jets inspected upon receiving the FAA's notification. Altogether, the three carriers operate 70 Boeing aircraft.
