Okay okay perhaps I have gotten into a rut. Maybe I have leaned a little heavily on my third-generation Oregon farm background for anecdotes and metaphors. Possibly I did deserve this send-up in a National Lampoon version of a GPS World editorial list composed by senior editor Alan Cameron:
