Shortly before noon on November 21st of last year, Darrell Coad, 21, and Michael E. James Jr., 24, began arguing in a Cincinnati, Ohio, street. Coad subsequently told authorities that James had beaten him severely the day before, and that he feared for his life during their second confrontation. James was reportedly angry because he thought Coad had broken into his car while he was in prison (he had recently been released).
