Wildcat III bests DRV-08 performers. (benchmark).(Evaluation)
The Wildcat III graphics accelerator from 3Dlabs, paired with both an HP and a Dell workstation, earned the best scores out of eight systems running the Design Review (DRV-08) subset of the SPECviewperf 7.0 OpenGL benchmark. The DRV-08 test consists of five operations, including walkthroughs, common to Design Review, a 3D plant design review program.
The mean scores represent the combined, weighted results of the five tests, measured in the number of frames per second the machines were able to execute. The larger the numbers, the better the performance.
