DALLAS -- The Asian American Journalists Association proudly announces the beginning of the second "J CAMP: A High School Journalism Program for Gifted Students of Color." J CAMP brings 42 students from all over the country to Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. The five-day program, running Aug. 3-7, gives students the opportunity to build their journalism skills, learn how their cultural values affect their professional development, and work together in a unique learning environment.

Students spend time with professional journalists and get hands-on training in writing, photography and broadcasting. Sessions and workshops are led by experienced journalists from some of…
