TOKYO, Aug 1 Asia Pulse - The number of subscribers to the so-called fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) Internet connection service in June surged 34.7 per cent from the previous month to 68,600 lines, a record net increase of some 17,700 lines, the Ministry of Public Management, Home Affairs, Posts and Telecommunications reported Wednesday.
