SEOUL, Aug 1 Asia Pulse - Mirant Corp., a U.S. energy concern, plans to sell off its stake in Hyundai Energy Co., with four overseas major energy firms showing interest in acquiring the Korean energy firm, industry sources said Thursday.
The planned asset sale is aimed at financing the U.S. firm's project to build a liquefied natural gas (LNG) power plant in Yulchon, South Cholla Province, the sources said.
