THE JAKARTA POST:
- The government said on Wednesday it would purchase a 20 percent stake in PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC), dashing the hopes of the East Kalimantan provincial administration to become the majority shareholder in the giant coal mining company.
- Talks on the draft of the 2003 state budget will be high on the agenda for discussion between the government and visiting International Monetary Fund (IMF) review team, Minister of Finance Boediono said on Wednesday.
BISNIS INDONESIA:
- The supreme court has decided in favor of the Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency revoking a cession agreement against PT Era Giat Prima and saved a Rp546 billion in fund belonging to government controlled Bank Bali.
- The Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency has earned an additional fund of Rp4.4 trillion from the rebid process in the sales of credit assets controlled by the bank rescue agency.
