TAIPEI, Aug 1 Asia Pulse - Taiwan and the United States on Tuesday signed a fishery cooperation memorandum, demonstrating that the two countries will upgrade the level of their fishery exchanges and have closer cooperation on international fishery resources protection and management issues.
The memorandum was signed in Washington, D. C., by Chen Chien-jen, Taiwan representative to the United States, and Babara Schrage, acting chairwoman of the American Institute in Taiwan, on behalf of their respective governments.
