BRISBANE, Aug 1 Asia Pulse - Major banks said they were willing to continue to support farmers through the current drought, Queensland Primary Industries Minister Henry Palaszczuk said.
Mr Palaszczuk said he had met representatives of the major rural lenders today to discuss the drought and the seasonal outlook.
He said he was encouraged by the banks' detailed understanding of the seasonal conditions and their willingness to support their farm borrowers during drought.
